A Geodesic Dome is a spherical or semi-spherical structure composed of a network of interconnected triangles, which evenly distributes stresses, giving it exceptional strength with minimal weight. In the context of storage tanks, these domes serve as fixed coverings that protect the tank contents from weather conditions, external contamination, and, when combined with an Internal Floating Roof (IFR), assist in vapor containment.
